I usally go to a place in the area of Washingtonville and Campbell hall. Kinda on the back roads to Middletown from Sarawells trail

If I can not make it, We should plan another night for the car show as well. Kinda very short notice for me.

I went to the show and hung around in the parking lot and checked out the cars until 6. I spoke to the people that run the show and said we can bring in our jeeps and if we all rolled into the show at the same time they would put us together. The usually split up by years but would make an exception for us. Now the bad part for some of us. If your jeep is 88 or newer you have to pay a yearly membership of 20 bucks and that gets you into all shows. It also gets you a discount card to Advance auto parts in Vails gate. 87 and below only have to pay the 2 dollars park access fee.I agree this week was short notice. How about next wednesday? We could meet in the parking lot then go onto the field. There was a few lifted pick ups there and a 70s style dune buggy Other then that they were mostly classic muscle cars. A few vendors selling wax and assorted things. They also have a DJ playing 50s and 60s music.
If you comming from the bear mt bridge direction you want to make the right at the light up to the park, go past the resturant and field and make the next right where they are chscking you in.

When I got home my wife said our LIL MAN was in a RARE form tonight and he just was not having it or anything.

I think next wed night could be do able for me.

Ive been to a couple of the shows at bear mountain, and haven't really seen too many trucks/Jeeps. there was a 4x4 mustang, but i think it would be sweet if we could get a group of jeeps up there.

airport park.. i grew up there too. i lived on the corner of Ave M and 1st st. i used to take my parents' olds cutlas to the park in the snow and tear it up (on the pavement of corse). i've been all down in those trails a loooong time ago on foot, back when i didnt have my license yet. i've been in the marine corps for the last eight years now and i just havent had a chance to take my jeep up there yet, but i've been dying to! hopefully i can around thanksgiving when i go home again
