there's a GREAT club in Albany ADIRONDACK JEEPS, that always have different trails and something to do... you should look into joining... I'm in Albany for school, if you ever wanna meet up let me know... bunch of great guys up there

Thanks.... I have been to bear mountain a bunch of times, usually on my GSXR tho. Any where else have decent trails besides the powerlines...?

i never got up to bear mountain this year with my daily, between work and other things going on, might need to go up next summer with one of the 2.

Any one have a green XJ in Yorktown area saw it the other day going into work and now that the weather is sucking more gonna be driving the XJ a lot more

Are you sure. I found a website that says its good for mountain biking, atv and 4x4 off roading. it says there is 11 miles off-road driving roads...

Hmmm, you know what... someone else mentioned this place to me recently as well. I said illegal because EVERYTHING is illegal with the exception of designated areas and private land. Apparently this is a designated area for off-road activities but it must be relatively new.

Still, I'm sure those trails are simply forest roads and nothing all that technical. It might be fun to head up there to explore and to do some camping, but as far as wheeling goes I'd interested to know more about what the terrain is like.

well im deff up for a trip up in like a week, my yj is in need of ball joints and a sway bar link. i have had a few friends go up there befor for like a bon fire. But who knows till we take a look ourself.
