Post Central NY Off-road trails

Hey guys, I'm a newbie to the off-roading community still and I'm lookin for some places to ride. I live in Herkimer NY. Thats near Utica in Upstate NY. Anyone know any good trails let me know!

Currently: '14 JKU

Past vehicles: '92 YJ, '97 TJ, '10 JK

I wheeled in NY/MA/CT/PA for 15 yrs before moving west. NY is pretty legally locked down for any trails than aren't either, 1) an old road still on some town map so the town still gets state money for its maint, even when they don't, 2) private land where the owner is a Jeep nut and doesn't mine some trails carved out, 3) boring forest dirt roads that you can drive a Chevy Malibu through. If you really want to get into off-roading, find and join a local club.
