Judging by Google maps it doesnt look too entertaining jski, but the only way to truly find out is by experience.. One way looks like a bit of sand trail and the other section is an electrical cutthrough.

This is a new forum for ATV's, for the NY, NJ, PA & CT area. It's for posting about riding events and good places to ride. Some places, like Anthracite, are open to trucks as well, so this could be a valuable site for everyone in the area

is hot water street open again? I was just in there yesterday and the gates aren't locked. They swing open freely and I had to go about 15 minutes in before I saw a sign that said access by permit only.

Not sure how you can get a ticket now if there are no signs up front and the driveway is open.

To be sure you'd probably have to contact the parks department or the DEC and see what they say.

Expect a 4 hour drive there and depends what time you leave, I took the Verrazano bridge and think RT 78 there if I remember right

Massapequa here, but would be willing to head out east to hangout with some jeepers. I think some of my buddies would be willing to as well.

Medford here.

Nice to see a forum of local people. Are there any local active clubs/meetups around? I know there isnt much, if any, wheeling on long island but still fun to work on the truck, talk about mods, and just build a fun/helpful jeep community on the island. I know for me half the fun is wheeling and the other (just as fun) half is the build. i am sure i am not the only one. Never a bad idea to get a group of extra hands when it comes time to do a mod.
