I'm trying to convince my friend to trailer the Jeep up there with his powerstroke. Because I know I am going to break something and not be able to fix it while I'm out there. I really want to make the trip so we'll see what happens. Ill keep you posted.

Cj Long Island Jeeps

Hi I'm from East Patchogue and I'm trying to put together a 1964 CJ 5 If anyone has any parts let me know. I have some early station wagon and truck parts exhaust, driveshafts, grille, radiators, speedometers and a few CJ 7 Parts.

You are probably going to have a tough time finding parts for such an old jeep local. They just don't last in the north east. Unless you keep on it like its your second job you'll be lucky to get 20 years out of a frame. You should probably look in the west coast section and hope to find someone willing to ship. Good luck I'd like to see more cj's on the island.
