You need to join a club (Hudson Valley 4 Wheelers) that gets access to private land. Otherwise get used to driving to Rausch Creek.

Check us out at the next meeting in January. (1/16/12) We'll be at Hudson's Ribs & Fish at 7:30PM.

The only place to wheel in NY is private land or a Off Road Park.

Bosko, if your in Walden just stop by next time we are wheelin at my place. I am right outside of maybrook, not a huge area by any means but enough to get the urge out. Send me a pm if you are interested, trails are mild but def some challenging spots.
Mike

Bye the way, for those who have been here we got stuck in the pines on the first hill the other night. Couldn't believe it, the mud was only 3 inches deep but the ground underneath it was like ice! Actually had to hold onto the jeep just to stay upright when walking around! Crazy. Took about 40 min to get out.

Haha, depends on who you ask... My wife will say I'm younger than my kids. Chronologically, 42, mentally depends on lots of other factors...

If you want to be included send me a pm, I don't post a lot.

Anyone try the new trail we cut and that ledge going up or down?

Bosko,

Your Jeep looks cool. How long did it take you to install the lift?

Pat, yes Sean ran it several times and dropped off of the ledge at a pretty good point. Nothing except the RZR has made it up though. Gonna take some real ground clearance and some huevos to make it. Kyle just picked up a long arm TJ that should be ready in about 2 weeks, he says he can do it we'll see!

Bosko, do you know Kyle with silver JKU with 37's from Maybrook? Thought he mentioned a local lifted orange JKU the other day.

Bosco, clear your pm box it's full. Good to see you know Kyle, he is good people, right now he, his daughter, and girlfriend are somewhere in the Carolinas on their way to the keys for 10 days. His jeep was making a very odd sound that started on Friday, we went over the thing several times and couldn't isolate the sound. Haha, just what you want as you pack the car for a 3000mile trip!
Send me a text to 401.8037 and i will add you to the jeep list. All of the trails here have been cut so they can be done with zero damage (my jk is an 09), technical is fun damage is not.
