Thumbs up That time again... Bantam Jeep Heritage Festival 2014, Butler, PA

Its that time again:

Im Getting registered for the 2014 Jeep Fest, many new events both for stock and modified Jeeps

Here is the official websitehttp://www.bantamjeepfestival.com/, dont for get to register to camp out at Coopers Lake, Even though I am only 10 minutes from the camp i will be staying at the camp for the weekend get away with the wife(and in-laws, they might lease a jeep but at least its a jeep)

Our camp site is D42-44, stop on by have a cold one(if your over 21)

Last year i did the Moraine Trail, it was a good time for any stock jeep.
This year since I have a different jeep, and soon to have better tires ill be doing the On-site trails and moraine trail

So who else is going what are you going to be participating in?

PS: be sure to read all the rules for buying tickets, i dont remember last year having to provide proof of insurance but this year i read that liability is a must have, Also make sure to register for camping at the Coopers Lake webpage, they will not take third party tickets, and do not care to hear the wining or crying.
Link below for official webpage
http://www.cooperslake.com/home/index.php

See you all there

I signed up to volunteer this year at the festival. We normally stay at Bear Run campground, and probably will again this year.

Cooper's lake is like $10 per adult per night. This weekend is a two night minimum. For me and my family it was like $46. I only plan to stay one night though. Oh well - kids enjoy it.

How's the "Willow" section? I had no idea where to pick.

My biggest fear is getting ran over in my tent while we sleep.

I just registered....whoohoo....first timer....tips/tricks/advice gladly accepted...

First question: lodging? Camping is out unfortunately. My wife can't drive/tow my truck/our camper that far. And she doesn't drive manual so I have to drive the jeep. So, any hotel recommendations? I see a few right around the festival, and a few right in Butler.

there are plenty of places to stay in butler, slippery rock, grove city area, cranberry isnt to far, if you want a hotel that is or the camp grounds there is always a parade of drunk jeep owner driving in circles on the road ha
