State College Wheeling?

Im a junior at PSU, have a 2000 xj that should be done over the summer (d44's 36's hydro assist, extra beef). Are there any nice places to wheel in the State College area? Haven't heard of anything really about off-roading up here, too many kids with bimmers I guess. I would totally dd the thing in the fall if there was a crew to go with. Whats the scoop?

Yeah I was hoping to find something really close like Bellefonte, Altoona is a good 40 minute drive. Once i get a flatbed trailer I can haul this thing around. Im not sure how it's gonna do on the highway yet. I would like it to be dependable but that might be asking for too much.

There is a trail right outside of state college, I beleive it's on county land but they leave it open to the public. It's called panther run, google it and u should find some info. Other than that everything is down this way towards altoona and out towards Patton.
