Looks like fun, not sure if my stock jeep would make it though. I'm working all this weekend or else I'd be able to go.

The reservior property is illegal to wheel on. If you're on the west side of Burma Rd behind the walmart, anything south of the powerline or pretty much north of the coal clearing is reservior property. It's all posted so you'll know when you've gone too far. You need to start exploring, when you see watershed signs just turn around and go back.

If you are on the walmart side of the Burma property there is a cool waterfall to hike to. Follow the coal property trail to the powerline and turn left. Go a mile or two until the creek crossing. If you have a stocker it can get pretty challenging after the crossing so bring buddies, straps and winches if you plan on going any further. Park your rigs and hike the creek to the falls. It's pretty cool.

There is plenty there for a stocker to do. You'll have a blast. Those of us with built rigs and buggies are the ones that have to ride around for hours looking for something suitable.

I need to call in sick next week and drive out to Pottsville to get my 09 permit before they're all gone. What # are you guys and when did you get them?

I got mine on the 19th and i was number 67, we have pretty much driven all the trails on the walmart side of burma, spent alot of time last monday(19th) on the other side did alot of running and ended up coming out on new philadelphia road by silver creek road, and have every place we ran charted on our GPS units.

What's the east side like? Is there more trails or more open area like the west (walmart) side? We usually park over there but never explore LOL!

How far north on the powerline on the west side have you gone? Locals told us it goes all the way to St. Clair/Frackville.

the east side so far has been a lot of trails, since it was all snow covered no one was feeling to adventurous and didn't want to venture too far of the main trail, no one wanted to find out where the water was lol, as far as how far north of the power lines we took the one power line into the Weiser state forest, than we headed east towards the fire tower, than south between silver creek reservoir and some lake, than continued back out to the Burma road.

That's good to hear, sounds like you guys have done more exploring than we have. I wish I lived closer so I can explore more. I'll have to get out there on my quad so I can cover more ground.

Did you do any GPS mapping? I'm thinking of picking up a GPS for my buggy since I might be doing some racing in it.

Thanks for the offer. I cant make it to PA this weekend but would like to another time after I get my new permit. I would be on my quad because it's going to be a few months before my buggy is ready.

Can you PM me some of these maps?
