Had a fun but loooong day.
Left Emporium around 6 and got to the festival about 9.Did a few roundabouts checking out the vendors and what they had to sell.Wound up buying a winch.Just wish the vendors had more products to buy there at the festival or I would of went home with more.

Tons of nice Jeeps to look at and met some nice people. One thing I noticed on the way out was the line of vehicles that stretched from the campground all the way out to 79..glad I wasn't in that line.

I saw I was only 33 miles from the burgh so I went and saw a buddy I hadn't seen in a couple of years for a couple hours then headed the 180 miles back to the sticks.Being a hillbilly that drives most of the time on cowpaths those 10 lane(OK,they are only 4)raceways sure frazzles my nerves a bit

We left around 11:30 when the rain started picking up,just made it home at 5:47. I never thought I would be driving my poor xj that Far doing some good trails and then driving home. Had a great time chatted with some good people, just not sure where we placed in the team challenge?

Well I am a little late to finding this thread but I attended the festival for the time on sat as spectator (New to me Jeep TJ not ready for the drive and trail riding yet) This is my 3rd Jeep project and I am excited to have it ready for next years event. We will be camping at my wife's family's camp in Moraine.

My 2 year old son had a blast and my wife actually really enjoyed her self. Looking forward to meeting up with everyone else next year. Hopefully more people can make it through the mud pit! I only saw 1 make it all day Saturday and someone said they saw another make it but thought it was the same Jeep. If that was one of you guys on the forum I bet you are feeling pretty good !!!! Haha

Some photos from the BantamJeep festival. The black YJ is the only Jeep that I saw make it through that short deep mud pit.

The black Jeep was actually a CJ with a very healthy V8. I loved hearing that thing roar in the pit. The Cummins came out of the pit surprisingly clean too. There was a girl in a black TJ that made it through too.

You know what I thought it was a CJ but when I looked at the picture when I was home it kinda looked like a YJ

Lets see if I can't muck this up...
These are all from the camp ground.

As a side note, anyone know what kind of wheels those are on the LJ?
