Rausch Creek run 8-11-12 pic thread

Here's pix from our day trip to Rausch Creek Park saturday August 11th 2012

I had a good time. Met a bunch of good people. For me it was the shakedown run for my new build. Everything went well. I'm very happy with how my jeep worked overall. My bushwacker flat flares are coming off because they're worthless offroad. The rear two separated on the leading edge. Rubi flares are going back on.

Anyway, Enjoy . .

Sorry for the blurry. I was checking the clearance of my new Rock Krawler Long arm 'high clearance' LCAs. They passed! I still had almost an inch of room between the rock and my front LCA. A straight arm would have drug on that rock.

Awesome pix Rob.

Jake, thanks for shooting that video. Not only did it make me pucker again but I actually learned some stuff getting to see what happened outside the jeep. Just at the end of the last vid it looks like my right front wheel slid to the right off that rock. Twisting me up even more.

Rausch Creek usually ends up on most offroad magazines top 10 list for best places to wheel in the country. It has really diverse terrain.

You would be fine. There are all different trail levels for different vehicle capabilities from stock 4x4s to tube buggys. They even have free color coded trail maps if you want one. I've been therea bunch of times and still need one. Mine is sorta crumpled with all sorts of notes jotted down on it
