annnnd my busted DS, I had to take the side streets home, anything over 35 and I was vibin' bad. removed her, powers mentioned something about a solid driveshaft from a garbage truck, I gotta look into that :P
It's pretty mild trail, maybe 10 miles in each direction and a great view at the end. It's around Tomaqua, PA the trail head starts in Tuscrarora (spelling?) and ends right over the Tomaqua elementry school. It's a bit difficult to find so I could guide you there, not sure what your rolling on but there is some serious trails off of the main one that I've seen eat jeeps. I've even seen a 1ton axle break off on the "steps" a serious trail and quite a few jeeps flip backwards down to the bottom. There's wheelin for everyone there but the main trail is pretty mild. Shoot me a PM and we'll set something up to go up wheelin. My trail rig is down at the moment and my DD has no 4wd that I just figured out in the snow this weekend so I've got work to do.
Nice, Im rolling stock right now ha ha.. but yeah we defiantly need to meet up and run the trail sometime. I 2 other friends with Tjs too so maybe a few of use can mak a run...
just a few pics of my new mods including custom exhaust and lower control arm bracket adjustment. not included in these pics is the arb front bumper highstyle wrinkle, although it is small it should improve aerodynamics.
Bleeding mud tire fixed, tree root inside of tire. No idea how it held its bead and retained air. Another rim chipped about 1/4" but bead holding fine. Going to try and fix control arm bracket this weekend. exhaust??? Should be ready to roll soon. In the daylight that would be a nice trail that Tim navigated through the woods -- couple of little stone hills made challenging by the snow. Just need to find a way to the flats.
