Im in for a Montage trip, its been a few weeks since Tim and I did that snow run, my Jeep and I are WAY over due for wheeling...Jeep is begging for stuff WAY harder than what Montage has to offer. Rausch or similar very soon as well.

Montage Dec 11? Anyone?

the pressure makes us stronger, the struggle makes us hunger, the hard lesssons make the difference, and the difference makes it worth it.

From stories I've heard it's not over grown, there are a few nice spots to play, and the loop they usually do takes most of a day to run. I've seen a few pics of **** I'd like to run. Most importantly its free lol.

Hey Guys, If anyone in North Scranton knows some good places to ride a dirtbike please let me know. Me and my son are in town for the day on saturday and wants to ride. When I was a kid we all used to ride the marvine and the moon but that looks really developed now, all posted and gated off. Thanks in advance.

Sorry not familiar with north Scranton, I basically stick to montage (South Scranton?).

Get off at the montage mountain exit, straight ahead there's a little strip mall with a subway and a Exxon station. at far end of the parking lot is a entrance to where we wheel. but if your not already familiar with the area it is quite easy to get lost while in there.

Montage is HUGE, there is endless trails, many I've never even taken yet. We basically stick to one run that goes from the bottom of the mountain to the reservoir (bottom of the slopes), up the mountain, to a little rock patch to play on, down the mountain to the swamps, then back to the start. generally takes a few hours depending on how many people, how often we stop.

There's a little of everything there. it's the best free wheelin I've done. There is plenty of challenging places to test your technique.

From my understanding Montage is privately owned and the owner doesn't really care what goes on as long as people don't end up dead. But that is just a, "he said he heard it from his friend, and from his friend, etc..." type of situation. So if that is the case and I heard correctly, it is legal.
