Welcome to owning an older jeep lol. I lost count of the number of rattles mine has - it adds character

So true. Lol. My only concern is I don't really know how to fix stuff (yet??) and I don't have extra money for boo-boo's.

But, with that, I am still tossing around the Rausch idea. Worst case, yous can leave me at the campsite...

You take pretty good pics with your phone, so I could give you my my digital camera for the day and you can ride along with someone and document the day. Just a thought. That's what my wife was going to do, but not sure if she is coming along or not yet.

Great thing about Rausch is you can go and do what you want. Most of the trails have bypasses for the "I'm gonna die" parts, so you can go and have fun without breaking stuff if you don't want to get too messy. Some of the trails you'll hit you have no choice but to try your best, but you can avoid most of the tricky spots if you wish. I followed guys on 33s and 35s my first time up in my (then) stock TJ on 235/75s through blues and blacks all day and kept up just fine, I just couldn't do everything they could. I'd go if you can make it, you won't regret it. Our club is going up on the 18th and 19th; I can't wait. Its been two months since I've been there, way too long.
