Could someone give me a good entry point for the trail? I am dying to go close to home. I moved down here a few years ago and am tired of driving to Somerset County to go off road. Don't know many places around here yet.

Back home we got a taxidermy man. He gonna have a heart attack when he see what I brung him.

Someone may be able to supply better info, but for now, do a Google Map search for East Trails Road in Delta PA. To be honest, you are probably best to go with someone who knows the area, at least the first time. I was thinking of heading up Sat afternoon, but it looks like the weather is gong to be bad. You'd be more than welcome to come with me if I go, but please read through this whole thread if you haven't already, and be aware of the sensitivities in the area.

Pff not out there. You lose a lot of grip on that trail if it's wet. From what I expierenced.

Yeah, I agree. First the rock garden about half way down the trail by the river gets all slick, and then the hills seem to have a mixture of black dirt and clay. I swear that mud semi-stains my soft top. Hard as heck to get it all off with washing.

But if it is only drizzling, I might head up.

Yep, pretty much any mud stains my soft top; it takes quite a while for it to finally start to wear away. By the time its worn off enough that you can't really see it anymore, it gets dirty again and its back to square one.

I've had mud stain my top before. I'm run around in mud before near where they deal with coal... I always assumed that was part of the reason...maybe not.

I think it is more the clay than anything else. Clay has a way of being really sticky. Even when you wash it off, it looks like its gone until the wetness dries, and there it is.

Only reason why I like my hard top. Easy to clean off, but a B**** taking it off the Jeep

I think we are, unless it is a steady rain. Probably won't go until noon or early afternoon because I am changing out a radio. I'll send you a PM.
