Yes there will be. Just not yet as the park isn't open.

i was with limelite the day he took that pic. couple of us locals went exploring. that is a truly awesome sight. gives u an up close n personal idea of what strip mining does to planet earth. the cool part is u can drive all the way to the bottom of that (if u have a winch cuz the bottom part is steep). we went halfway down n walked out on it. i cant wait for the "park" to be open so we can clean up this land n it can finally get the respect it deserves. and for anyone who thinks its "not open" yet, u should go tell that to the 500 quads n dirt bikes we pass everytime we go.

i personally like the excelsior side better. if your a mud guy, youll like treverton side more.

I believe it was bankrupt coal land that now is in county hands, regardless of if the park goes thru I doubt it will be free wheeling forever, but as of now no hassle, friends told me cops were in lot before I got there in nov and told them to be careful and have fun.
How do I get there? I've been signed on the petition and wanted to check the area out on one of my sunday rides from around the hazleton area. Definitely would love to see the new area thats being considered. Really hope this happens soon.

I'm pretty certain that the March 22nd date has been pushed back. I'll know for sure in a couple of days .
