Elk county

Anybody out there know of any trails to do some jeepin in or right around elk county? I'm from St. Marys and the same back rds with one mud hole or one little hill is getting old. Already know of the offroad parks but trying to find something closer to home.

atv trails are for licensed atv's only. if you get in the wrong place at the wrong time they can give you a rather stiff fine. think it's in the 1000$ range these days.

I haven't been down there in about 8 years or so but they had seperate trails listed as orv trails and had pictures of a jacked up truck on the signs. I never seen anyone on them but thought I would ask. They were just near the timberline and marianville atv trails.

From Rt. 949 out of Ridgway, turn down Sackett Rd. by the Highland Hotel. 5 or 6 miles down to four corners, I believe there are trails down there. A buddy of mine has a camp in Sackett, and we took his truck through the woods all the time with no trouble.
