Hey guys is it worth it for me to go to this show? I have been to the York fairgrounds for shows like the Street Rod Nationals and it is ~4 hours away from my home on Long Island. Also are there good wheelin' spots nearby?

Has it always been like that? I remember last year and years past that people get up on the rocks with open diffs, 3.07s, and burned clutches. It was fun to watch. I also seem to remember the spotters asking people if they had lockers and what their gear ratio was. Maybe I'm wrong

I've seen an xj with 32's, front locker, and 4" short arm make it through just fine. And a 6" long arm, fully locked on 37's tj totally fail. Like tuffy said, depends on their mood but by now I'd think they just go by their first instinct if you dont quite meet the minimum standards.

you just gotta pick a good line... if you watch where everyone goes and fails then you know where not to go

Sometimes I wonder if the spotter picks a specific line just to see what your rig can handle. More than 1 way to skin a cat I suppose
