Do you know if the fairgrounds will be open on Friday night for camping? I'm driving down from Canada and it's going to be about a 7.5 hour drive that I'd rather get it out of the way on Friday.

There isn't anything on their site about Friday but I've had friends show up on Friday night in previous years and this year I'll be showing up on Friday to camp.

Okay, what do I need to do to participate in the "1:00 PM 5:00 PM Obstacle Course OPEN to ALL Inspected Jeep"? Do I need to fill out the registration?

It's not very clear and the website is giving PHP errors >:{

Will my stock rubi be able to go over the "BIG Rocks"? I know it can, but I can't remember if stock tire size is 31", 32", or 33"

The 2008 Jeep Wrangler is not so much an SUV as it is an experience. It's slow and loud, handles poorly, has crummy interior materials and features doors that provide virtually no crash protection. But when it comes to off-road performance, the Wrangler is simply the best choice available.

Site says lockers, tow points front and rear and min 33's to do the big rocks. I'd imagine you have to be registered to run the course.

I'm thinking that maybe Hershey might be cool to go to on Friday. Depends on the weather, I guess. I'm really hoping for sunshine all weekend

IIRC, at that point in the show you dont have to be "registered" but Im pretty sure you still have to pay a $30 donation to run the course, in which case you may as well just register and have a nice spot to park during the day. And for the others asking about Friday night camping, yes. You can show up anytime fri and set up shop. That night is usually pretty cool to sit back and see all the rigs pull in. I'll be there, same as every year... on a minibike
