93 wrangler steering tight

Guys I just bought my wife a 93 wrangler. The steering is nice and tight. But a little too tight. It does not center like it should. The previous owner said that after he had the passenger ball joints replaced it got that way. The ball joints are greased. ( I personally did them again to be sure.) They jeep is stock, No body lift. Any input will be nice. Its drivable the way it is, being its not me driving it daily I want it to be correct for my wife who will be driving it daily.
