Comfort Inn has been sold out. Other lodging options can be found here:

Rausch Creek Off Road Park

Update on Camping at RC

From Lynn at RC:
Rausch Creek thanks you all for your support of this event. We anticipate a lot of people will want to camp at the park this weekend. Normally you would need to contact me (Lynn) for a camping reservation, but for this event that is not necessary. Here is what you need to know about camping at the park:

It is primitive. There are picnic tables, fire rings, and porta-potties. Rules are posted throughout the area, but the basics are plan on packing your trash out and do not burn pallets, glass, or cans. The camping area is to the right of the driveway and divided into 3 areas. The first area on your right is Area A which is suitable for single-vehicles with tents and trucks/trailers who are tent camping. The next area is Area B which is for single-vehicles with tents only. Area C is for truck/trailers, RV’s, and also for multiple single-vehicles if they park 2-3 behind each other.

All vehicles/RV’s/trailers should pull in or back in. No parallel parking.

If anyone has any issues or concerns, please contact me at lynn@rc4x4.org

Trail Group recommendation

Looking for suggestions to get myself in the right trail group. Running an LJ Rubicon, 33's, around 3" lift +1"BL, tucked w under armor, winch. Willing to push the Jeep on the trails but I do need to drive it home 2 hrs. I like to keep moving on the trails most of the time. I'm thinking one of the blue/black groups. Any particular TG rec's for a good weekend of wheeling?

Blue Black is what i'd say your rig is capable of. Greens are just part of getting from harder trail to harder trail most of the time anyways. Depends on your experience though

Have you run Blacks at Rausch before? With 33's they will push your Jeep, you should be prepared take advange of your under armor.

I highly recommend Zach Jones, Trail Group 27. I have wheeled with him before and he is a very good trail guide.

Never ran rausch before but I've been to paragon and some local rock gardens. The blacks were brutal for my rig back then as that was pre UA and an inch lower. The UA is there to take the brunt of the rigs shortcomings. Thanks for the replies.

Don't want you to think I was trying to talk you out of running blacks, I run blacks with a similar setup to yours in my JK, just wanted to make sure you knew what you are getting yourself into. Like I said I highly recommend Zach's group but I know and/or have wheeled with quite a few guys leading the Blue /Black groups and think you would have a good time whichever one you sign up with.

That sounds like me and my wife, we determined that the sound of rock on steel is not good for our relationship so unless I am leading a beginer group she normally stays home or back at the campground.

Groups are starting to fill up fast, especially the Green and Green/Blue Groups. 12 Groups are already full and there are a few others with only 1 or 2 spots left.

We just signed up for Saturday Green/Blue. I wanted to do both days but I worry about the kids getting bored and sun burnt. We are planning on camping in the area but not at the park, any one have any suggestions?
