If you’re into mud or just riding around watching huge trucks go through very deep mud Louisiana Mudfest in Colfax is the place to go. If you like rocks and trails Catahoula Recreation in Sicily Island is the place for you. I go to Louisiana Mudfest quite often and have been to Catahoula Recreation once when it first opened it was ok but I like mud.
Where are you at in central La.? I live about 25mi North of Alexandria

I live in Alexandria and there are quite a few place to go with in 10 minutes or less. There is also a park about 1.5 hours north for off road vehicle only. Message me if you want to go for a ride this weekend or something local.

You can ask this question here too..... louisianaoffroad.com

Some of the best wheelin is in Catahoula recreation. They just had a big event there that was put on by jeep club challange. From stock all the way up to extreme. And there is another event on November 9-10 there so there will be a lot of jeeps there. Also some of my buddies will be there the weekend before just for some fun wheelin. So check it out deffently worth it.
