LA4x4 May Trail Ride - John Ponder Memorial Trail Ride (Greensburg, LA)

This ride is in memory of John Ponder who passed away recently, on April 15th. For those of you who donít know who John was, he was the owner of the Big Easley property and supported us, allowing LA 4x4 being able to lease the property and create the existing trails. He enjoyed coming out and watching us create the trails and also enjoyed the verbal bantering on the forum, often bragging about the capabilities of his legendary gold Camry on the trails on his property.

Where: Big Easley Property: Easleyville, LA

When: Sunday, May 19, 2013

Meeting Place: Nick's Grocery in Easleyville at the corner of Hwy 43 and Hwy 38 ready to leave 8:300 AM

Cost: Membership Appreciation Ride (bring membership cards) for members and $20/vehicle for non-members

LA4x4 Trail Policy will be observed so please ensure that your vehicle has all of the required equipment.

There is an area for trailers and tow rigs across Hwy 43 from Nick's Gorcery. Be sure to pull back far enough to clear the parking lot.

Also, clippers or a machete is always a good thing to bring out there. The foliage grows like crazy and a little trimming while in line is always appreciated.

Hi! I saw this event posted in a Facebook page. I was thinking about going, but I just was wondering about the trails. I don't want to break anything on my jeep, but I do enjoy rides. What sort of level is it? Would a stock jeep make it (mine isn't stock im just curious) And what equipment is needed to go on the ride please?
