Ditto! Which trails did you end up running? We did a couple of (3)'s and then ran Ultimate Adventure and then Gorge. Had to pull cable on Gorge but made it through UA with no problems. It was a great day.

I started off wanting the Savvy TT but after looking at Nashirak's LJ I'm going to look real carefully at the UFC's TT.

If your going to do any trail rides don't forget to drop me a line!

Steven

We ran the Snake trail, Buckhorn (SE), Power Wagon Point, Brandon's Run, Rubicon Ridge, Fun run, and Sesame Street. Try riding in Nashirak's LJ we never hit his belly out there on the trail. I drag my stock skid like crazy out there. Tummy tuck is a really nice mod. I sure will drop you a line next time I go. I think tim is ready to go back to the park he bought a membership to the park.

This was my 5th time there since October. I think I'm hooked

I crawled under his rig and took a look at the UCF skid and it did look nice. He mentioned that he didn't go Savvy because it was made out of aluminum and it would 'stick' to the rocks and steel wouldn't. I hadn't thought about aluminum being softer and 'sticking' to the rocks. I guess I have a lot more reading to do.......

I know RHDTJ over on the Arkansas Crawler told me the only think he dont like about his UCF skid setup is how much it weighs. He said I wish I had got the lighter aluminum. He and I have talked about the aluminum sticking to the rocks and he said if its was so bad why was the rock bouncers and ultra 4 guys using it for there belly skids. So I'm lost just like you but my Savvy gas tank skid hasnt gave me any trouble on the rocks yet but I've only took the TJ out twice since installing it.

Brock Creek

The Wife and I went to Brock Creek today. Lots, I mean, Lots of 4-wheeler s and we were the only Jeep. Did both jeep trails, 51 & 42. Apparently there has been a lot of water on these trails. The first half of 51 had a lot of wash-outs, the last climb to the top of the main ridge most of the top soil was gone and the last 100 yds was a bunch of little rock shelf's and loose rooks. It was fun! The top of the ridge was just mud holes with rock bottoms that were about 2 ft deep. (i don't like mud!) Trail 42 had a lot of water damage also. Lots of trees were down and all creaks had knocked down trees in or across them. It was fun too. The Wife took a couple of pics at the cross of Brock Creek on trail 42. The last one I'm just looking at the water, that's it, just looking. I'm NOT doing what it looks like I'm doing.....

Overall, nice way to spend 4hrs with the wife that didn't cost any money.

Well Trisha and I went to the East Fork Illinois Bayou today. We started out going thru gulf mtn wma and going down to liberty springs. We went from there to brock lake. We had a nice little water crossing at the bridge below the lake. We got to the next low water bridge and the creek wasnt too high up. So we took a poser picture of the TJ. We make our way over to East Fork Illinois Bayou and got some pictures of the Jeep playing in the creek. It was a nice fun trip and we saw a lot of deer today.
