There's plenty of fire roads in the Ouachita National Forest. Easy and very scenic. This is one of my favorite areas less than 1 hr from either Hot Springs or Little Rock: http://www.fs.usda.gov/Internet/FSE_...sm9_039496.pdf

Superlift is near Hot Springs, but it can range from simple to technical. You can always explore the national forest roads north of Nashville and Murfreesboro on up. Mena has some nice areas to check out, as well.

Unfortunately extreme southern Arkansas is mostly mud.. I prefer to stay out of that!

On a side note - are you from Magnolia originally? I went to SAU and then worked there from 2008-May 2012, so Magnolia actually feels more like home than my real home!

Nice Commander! I've always liked those.

If you're from Rosston, we probably have some mutual friends! I think you could handle the national forest roads pretty easily in that.

Yeah i havnt seen it since the lift and ive gone down forest roads before stock, and ill try to go down anything but just kinda worried bout alot of rocks cause i dont have any serious skids under it right now.

I'm from ElDorado originally, and given your set up the old oil field roads should be right up your alley. They are spread all over the area. I haven't been back long enough to go wheeling, but there should be a few left.
