Places to stay near SMORR

We are planning a trip to SMORR Labor Day weekend.
Does anyone know of a good place to stay?
There will be two trucks with trailers.
Talked to the owner of SMORR today and he is unsure if the cabins will be ready by that time.

You could always tent camp at the ranch. SMORR has very nice facilities.

Yea we are considering that.
We are doing a week long trip, starting out at Superlift, then on to wheeling world and ending up at SMORR.
It looks like we will be camping at Wheeling World too.

Wheeling World? Tell me more.

They do have trailers to rent there but they were not much better than camping.
Good wheeling and the people that own the park are freindly.
The showers and bathrooms are nice.
Much better than Wash ita. (bathrooms and showers) not the wheeling.

Thanks for the link. Gonna have to look at planning a trip down there.

I went to Howiepalooza in late April and planned to camp at SMORR but the rain changed our mind. We stayed at the Best Western in Springfield so we could pub crawl the night before we went wheeling. It was pretty decent and they had a huge parking lot so your trucks and trailers would be fine. From there it's only about 40 minutes to SMORR.

we usually stay at America's Best Value Inn in Seymour. It's about 15-20 minutes from the park. It's not a 5 star hotel by any means but it's not filthy or run down. Not many places to eat in Seymour, though.

For Superlift we stay at the KOA. Probably the nicest KOA you'll ever stay at.
