KS Rocks Off Roading 101 Course???

I am new to wheeling and have heard many good things about KS Rocks. Decided to attend the 101 course on April 27th to learn to wheel the right way. I live right on the KS side but I don't know anyone who wheels so hopefully will get to meet some guys to start wheeling with. Has anybody taken this class before or heard about it? My wife registered me as a early birthday gift. Figure she doesn't want me completely destroying my jeep .

Would love some advice on what type of equipment i should get for my jeep or carry while wheeling? I will hopefully be getting a winch before the class as well. My jeep already has front tow hooks and a rear d ring shackle receiver hitch.

^^^ If you don't get a winch just get a good tow strap with hoops - no hardware attatched to strap. Also get a couple heavy duty d-ring shackles. Carry an assortment of tools you might need and a full sized spare.

KC Rocks is a great place for a day of wheelin.

I believe the KCJC might have a trail run planned for the 101 in April.

Awesome thanks for the input. I've been working on a full tuneup on the jeep. Now doing custom welding for some skid plates and getting mount points for D-Ring shackles. I'm also going to have a spare tire by then as well.
