I'm a big fan of SMORR, the staff there is cool as hell and they will help you out when need be.

Btw, I'm near JOMO, but I'm rarely home due to the job

I'm from Joplin, Just got my first jeep 96 Cherokee, Also I have a Rusty's 3" that should be here this week or next week. It looks pretty simple but if I run into some unforeseen problems would I be able to bribe any of you with a 6 pack of your choice to help out a newbie??

Anyone know if J&D offroad park is still open in Joplin? They did have a facebook page, but I dont see it anymore. Was thinking about going out there tomorrow if they are still legal to ride.

Well I'd go with but my jeep is in a million parts and I also have a kid on the way any day now. There is a big jeep run in march at Disney Oklahoma called the big meat run. Check it out.

I'm just getting mine back together, myself, so I feel for you. It's especially fun when the kid that was on the way is now 7 and can't remember where she put the parts - argh!

The closest we get to 4-wheeling at the moment is our back pasture, unfortunately. Maybe after I finish getting the shop together I can get the thing lifted & worked up the way I want it . . . . .

Yeah it's tough to get chances to work on it, got most of the engine back together today. Hope to get the tranny mounted to the motor and atleast sitting on the cherry picker to get lined up for mounts. The rear axle is all cleaned up and only parts lacking on that is the wheel bearings, the front is getting chevy outters w the bigger bearings. ( was a j10 d44)

You're right around the corner from me, then - about a quarter mile off the interstate by where 97 doglegs along it for a couple miles.
