Columbia Missouri Jeep Club

If anyone is interested:

Just started a Jeep Club here in Columbia, Missouri COMO Jeep Club. We have full support and sponsorship from University Chrysler. Our first meeting was held June 11th. We plan to hold monthly meetings on the 2nd Saturday of each month, 10:00 AM, University Chrysler parking lot. I'm also a member of Midwest Jeep Thing (MWJT) which is a GREAT club---people are the best ever. Just can't make it to the monthly meetings (in St. Louis) and reason for starting up a club in Columbia and hooking up when we can with their events and becoming members. Free membership until we get this up and going then maybe $10-20/year

If you want more info, shoot me an email to cojeepclub@yahoo.com.

how is this club coming along? I was thinking about coming out one of these days if its still going on. I have a group of about 6 people that i work with that have wranglers that might be interested in joining too. Let me know when the next event is.

the Club is going somewhat slowly. But we are still continuing on with those that show up on a regular basis. Right now we are concentrating on a website and a couple events we want to assist in like the Columbia Thanksgiving/Christmas parade and a Toys for Tots collection/ride of some sort.

We welcome whomever is interested. It's going to be a slow process but I am a steadfast person and one who wants to get this club well known and one people enjoying being a part of.

If you and your friends would like to be on my mailers for upcoming events/trail rides, please shoot an email introducing yourself/themselves to cojeepclub@yahoo.com I'll make sure and add to my mail list. Right now some of are attending the biggest event of the year through MWJT, called Jeepstock. This is my 4th year attending the event. In October there are 2 upcoming rides I'm trying to get others to go with. Please shoot me an email for this and other information.

thank you so much and please keep in touch.

The more Jeepers, the merrier

Do you guys have anything planned for november?

They might not but planning to bring the scout group to Fulton at Potowami if they are all up for it. Primarily a scout bunch but the rule is, if you got it wheel it and if you wheel it, do so often. :)

How is the club going? You should think about makin a website to get some more traffic. My local club http://qcjeepers.ning.com/ was set up last year and maybe we could do some runs to Hannibal Rocks or aorund there

Rock Rash off Road RROR has stood up and had a couple good meetings/events already. New Years Bon Fire is next/ Some want to run to SMORR for their New Years event (great park). Next meeting is 14 Jan south of Fort Leonard Wood.
I think membership is up to around 30 folks now. The club voted open to any 4x4, to allow more members in (population is limited around here) https://sites.google.com/site/centra...ri4x4club/home is the link. yea it says central4x4 but that was before claiming rror. The site has the contact info and link to forum. Also a FB page.

Thought Hannibal was closed for a while, I'd like to check it out one weekend
