Lj Port Aransas

Planning a trip to Port Aransas prob in June. Anyone give me some tips to make our trip more enjoyable? Planning on camping out in tent/hammocks. Anything I need to do to prep the jeep before hitting coast?

Touch up any places that show bare metal. Rust forms very quickly on the coast. Port A keeps their beaches in pretty nice condition. We were there yesterday for Sandfest. Had a great time.

If you are taking the Ferry, just after getting on the island, on your left, there is a little joint called Fins...best burgers I have had in a long time.

Bring a couple of 2x12's about 2' long and a shovel for recovery should you need it but I doubt you will.

Keep a 'clean change of clothes' and baby wipes inside the tent or you will quickly have sand in all the wrong places...or just drink a lot before bed, hahaha.
