Off Road Site for Beginner

Hey guys,

I need some advice / input. I have an XJ that I love and use as my daily driver. Although I have a 4WD conversion planned in the near future, she's only RWD right now. I'm sitting on a 3" lift, have 31 BFG ATs and I'm looking for a place, preferably in North Texas / DFW where I can go to do a little light off roading. I'm not looking to get stuck in the mud. I'm not trying to impress anybody by my rock climbing abilities. I really just wanna take my girlfriend out, have some fun, maybe have a picnic on the trails and call it a day.

Any place that I can go that is cool with RWD vehicles? Is that everywhere or do some places have rules?

As a reference, I currently live by DFW airport. Thanks!

Bridgeport has some easy trails and a few quarrys you can mess around in. I would just go with someone in case you get in over your head. Nothing kills the mood with a girl like getting stuck for hours and hours (ask me how I know)

Or maybe find a new girlfriend that has her own Jeep?
