If the 247 is at all like the 249 on a zj, the viscous coupling fails engaged putting you in 4wd permanently. Have you split the case yet? It might be something easy

I do plan on going but Ive got stuff I have to take care of first like no front tow points, front ds and pass. side front cv axle. And hopefully my tc isnt locked up from running 2wd for nearly a year. as long as all goes well money and jeep wise then Im in! Oh and I dont have a cb.

Good looking truck

Not a fan of the 6.0 though. Father inlaw has had nothing but problems out of it. I believe there is a class action lawsuit over that motor.
Hope you got one of the good ones.

You have the 249 TC? I believe on 96+ it doesn't hurt to run no front drive shaft. And axle shafts go for like $50 on rockauto.com. The KOR Rad support is great for front tow points, but I'm sure you could find factory hooks just as easy.

You need to go! We need more ZJs!

Agreed not a huge fan of the 6.0. I ran a oasis report on it and it didn't have any warranty major warranty issues.
one of my good friends had a 03' 6.0 only issue he had was 2 injectors.
I'm planning on a erg delete kit and later the head studs.
