We for sure will have to get something together in the near future.
I have yet to make it to Tolar and I still really want to check it out.

There's a few acres behind my house I go play on, but it's nothing special. There is some construction piles of rock and concrete, a dugout area with a mud run when it rains that's not overly abused, and some off camber trails. It's flat other than that, but 1/4 mile away works for me.

Sounds slightly more fun than my apartment complex's parking lot. Where in North Texas are you? You don't have your profile filled out

apartment complexe parking lots can be fun but, always have an escape route planned out for when the fuzz shows up to ruin the party

My ZJ breaks more often because of age, and not because of it being where it shouldn't be. I will eventually end up going, just gotta grow a pair.

My apartment lot is gated so there's only one way in, one way out. I am thinking of getting a RTI ramp for my parking spot though...

Easy now, I'm not trying to oversell it by any means. I use the land mostly for target shooting. I live basically in Saginaw, but technically Fort Worth. Tarrant county line and Fort Worth city line is at this property.

Oh dang you're pretty close, you go to the trails off of huff vines or boat club ever? I'm by the south Hulen mall. Probably like 20-30 minutes from ya.

I know where you're at. I worked t the Firestone off Hulen/Granbury Rd last fall. Plus I may be the only one in the thread born in this area lol. I haven't, not sure where you're talking about, but Boat Club Rd is a 1/4 mi from my house. I've gone riding my bike north to Newark, but didn't know any trails up there. Fill me in.

I can see that firestone from my balcony. Get on Google maps satellite view and look at boat club rd. Follow it north past boo rays and where it curves you can see a ton of trails on the west. The huff vines trails are off the marine creek reservoir on huff vines rd right by 820. I personally don't go back there any more cause I don't wanna risk a ticket, but I know a ton of people do without any trouble.

Sorry bout asking you twice where you were, didn't see your first post

My version of "easy" is having the try at least three times to get up and over, a little wheel spin, and using momentum. As far as growing a set..... they make pils for that now!!

if you have to try at least three times in the buggy, I don't think the grands would make it in one piece, and I don't know if pills can help that

How's the progress with the nice new Clayton gear?

Man peer pressure runs rampant in the off roading community. That's usually how I get where I don't wanna be - someone with a bigger rig shaming me into it. However, comma, I've learned a lot about my rig by being pushed outta my comfort zone, and this time I have skids!
