Moving to El Paso/Ft Bliss

Hey all,
Well, the military is moving us to El Paso for a couple years and I was wondering...

Places to wheel?

Jeep Clubs?

Places to live?

How much ammo to carry?

I will be moving out to El Paso to go to UTEP this summer. Are there some good parks to start out at until I can costomize my jeep?

Our club just ran Monticello trail and we had quite a few stock vehicles with us. You cross the river about 40 times and can camp out at the end. It's private land at the campgrounds, but the trail is ok to crawl on as long as you don't leave the trail.

Is there anyway I can join the club and be updated on future events?

Look up Olskool 4x4 on Facebook or google it.

There is also Rubberdown.net and Little Texas 4x4 for clubs...

I like the Olskool crew since we are all ex-military.

Is Olskool 4x4 friendly for young beginners? I'm 18 and looking forward to jeeping till I die.
