Looking for Jeep Bone Yards in the DFW area!

I have been to about 5 different salvage yards in the North Dallas area and no one seems to have any Wranglers at all. I am trying to find some salvage yards with Jeeps, Wranglers specifically. I am trying to find a family style cage and power steering to put in my 89 YJ 4.2L.

Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Scott

There a few in Grand Prairie off loop 12 on Jefferson St, but I think they charge you $25 to get in. I think they take to $25 off anything you buy, if you don't buy then you're SOL. You might call and ask if they have what you need.

Good luck. I know none of the salvage yards in Austin or San Antonio have Wranglers.

You could also try Collins Brothers in Wylie; not a junk yeard, but they usually have a pretty decent selection of used parts. They are reasonable with pricing on used stuff, and they really know about Jeeps.

www.collinsbrosjeep.com

There is a link on the left menu for "Used Jeep parts".
