have engine problem

have a 2002 wrangler with a 4 cliylinder with 150000 miles changed out spark plug wires and cap and rotor it will not maintain speed when i shift from 4th to 5th gear . im thinking about changing out the motor with inline 6 need some help please

Any codes being thrown? What size tires? Gear ratio? etc etc. Filling out your profile would help. For the labor an cost involved, you would be better off just going with a Chevy 4.3 or 350, or whatever other motor you could think of.
