El Paso, Texas going to Dona Ana, New Mexico - trail run

Going out to Hoppin Jalapeno in the morning if anyone gets this in time and wants to come. We are leaving from the East Side of El Paso at around 0930. Drive is about 1 hour 20 minutes.

Wish I would have known about this one. Have you ever taken HWY 62-180 out to the Salt Flats at the base of Guadalupe Peak? Spanish Angels in Dell City, is a great place to eat. We live on the south side of 62-180 between Cornudas, and the southbound turnoff for Sierra Blanca, (Ranch Road 1111).
The flats is a great place to play as long as it is DRY.
