We have started a group here in East Texas for all Jeepers, the thought behind the club is:
EAST TEXAS AREA GROUP OF JEEPERS.
This is not your typical Jeep club, we are not all about the mud and rock, though we do enjoy our trails from time to time. We are actually dedicated to the Art and Style of Trail Riding, whether it be off-road, or pavement! From the Texas open roads or Colorado mountain passes we roll our Jeeps. From putting our tires in the Gulf of Mexico to riding in a 4th of July Parade as proud Americans. Gathering together for a chili cook-off at a local State Park to supporting other area Jeep Clubs and events. We ride together! So lets drop those tops & doors and put the wind in our hair and sun on the face.
I live out in Ben Wheeler near Van and I'm looking for one too.
I am currently active in two Jeep Clubs.
First is Jeeps of East Texas, for more information about this club please e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org. We do not have another planned run until September, however we do meet monthly for dinner and conversations with friends!
Second, we are starting a club for the not so hard core jeepers, for those who do not have jeeps that are closer to "rock buggies" than street legal jeeps that wheel on the weekends. This club is for all jeeps and jeepers no matter the experience level. Check out www.rockriverjeep.com for more information, or find us on Facebook, just search for Rock River Jeeps. We have a trip to Crystal Beach planned for Memorial day weekend and are in the process of planning a week long trip toward the end of July, beginning of August.
Hope this helps!!!
