DS balance near Lake Jackson/288?

Just moved and need to get my front DS balanced, possibly rebuilt.

Any suggestions/recommendations?

The guys over at AAE Customs in Bacliff did both of mine. It's not quite local but I don't know of a closer place. These guys went out of their way to build a rear shaft for me just days before an event and were great to deal with.

Hmmm, yeah definitely a bit farther than I was hoping to drive, but I'll have to give them a call.

Luckily it's not urgent. I'd love to wheel again, but I drove from Boston to here with no front driveshaft, so I think I'll be ok for a bit.

There might be someplace in town. Check with Shayne over at Twisted Concepts on Plantation in Clute.

Awesome, thanks! I'll have to give them a call.

If nothing else I actually just looked in the Yellow Pages that appeared on our doorstep, and looked under "Driveshafts". Evidently there's a place called "Houston Drivetrain Service" which is only like 20 minutes away from my work. Might have to give them a call as well!

Get it taken care of? If Houston Drivetrain is the place I'm thinking of, they do great work too. I think they did the front driveshaft on my dad's Rubi.

Not yet. I've been working on other projects, so it might be a bit, but I'll make sure to report back when I get it taken care of!
