You are around 40 miles from Barnwell Mountain. I haven't been there yet, but I plan on going as soon as it cools down some.

Oz, check out BMRA...it's the first place I ever wheeled and it's a blast! lots of land (~1500 acres?) and some really killer trails!

oh, and I should be back on the trails soon. I just picked this up last week:

73 Jeep Commando, 304 v8, t-18, twin-stick dana 20, dana 44's w/4.56s, 33's, and some great cammo paint.

[QUOTE="OZFive"]

Yeah, I moved out to Winnsboro to spend some time out in the country.
The woods are nice and peaceful to be sure.

Sup, OZ seen you moved to Winnsboro. I'm here in Hawkins bout 25 miles south, straight down Hwy 14.

That sounds like fun. I'm planning to go to BWMA with the LSJC on Feb. 25th. I may have to do both now, looking at your site.

Mega Run sounds like fun. I am going to double check my work schedule but I am planning to be there. Seems like $80 for full registration is a great deal.
http://www.dfw-tx4wd.org/MEGARUN/MR.aspx

Event Registration (per rig, preregistered and prepaid)
Register and/or pay at the event adds $20 and does not include a shirt, sticker and meal ticket
Passengers are free.
Primitive Camping is included.
Includes Park Entry
Event registration is for each rig/driver pair. If multiple drivers wish to compete
in the same rig and the same event there must be a registration for each driver.
(i.e. if you want to drive your rig in the morning and the rock garden and
your friend drive it on the obstacle course and afternoon that is one registration.
If you both want to drive the same rig on the rock garden and obstacle course that
requires a second registration and the rig will have two numbers)

there's always a huge turnout for Mega Run. I've never been, but I'm thinking of taking the new rig this year.
