Greenville parade f*ing rocked! We had 20 4x4s in our entry and had a blast! The mindless wandering down Greenville afterwards was great too. We bailed out around 5pm. Great fun! The tire climbing was outrageous! Everyone had a blast and the A/T Fab guys brought beads for us to toss. Surprisingly, the crowd threw stuff at us too. I spent the morning cleaning that out of my jeep. Think about going next year if you have not been with us.

Campbell road was fun today. We only saw 1 yj, 1 '80s jimmy and some dirt bikes. We talked to the Yj after playing a game of "follow me". He has a great rig. We enjoyed hangin' with him. Things are starting to dry up out there, still some puddles though. No cops.

Took my Jeep out today for a cruise and ended up doing some wheeling in it by a picnic area for about 20 minutes.

Thanks mate! We all need to get together sometime soon. Warm weather is here, and I'm on spring break.

A/T Fab was great support but Ben bougtht the beads that FWD will repay him, A/T Fab did purchase the cups we throw to the crowd, A/T fab brought 3 r rigs and would have probably bought the beads but I was not trying to be gready and ask for help on that also.

but it was a blast
I hope they let us do it next year
last time we had 8 rigs and this years we had 21
next time who knows
maybe 50

Thanks for correcting me, Crawldawg. Ben was generous too! That was, what, 10 boxes of beads? We gave all of ours out halfway through. Next time we will plan better. My co-pilot will better master this parade thing next time.
Haloguru: Greenville Avenue's St.Patrick's Day Parade. 31st year.

Where on Thursday?

our beads lasted a little over half way this time also, we doubled the amount of beads but we also doubled, plus, the rigs, so next time , yes, more beads, how long did your cups last, maybe more planing on the cup logos also,
did you see the new home page on the FWD forum.
Derec Box changed that and it looks great

We ran out of cups about a block away from where we ran out of beads.
I wanted to keep a couple of cups but Steve was tossing so fast I didn't have a chance to get a word in! We had one guy ask what happened to the contents?
What time did ya'll head home?
I talked to the A/T Fab guys and they were the life of the party down on lower Greenville. Looks like we had the safe side of Greenville.
I like the front page. Derek did a good job. For a second I thought that was my jeep, but it's not as purty as Leroy.
A lot of good info on there. Stuff I could use is on there. Wow. Some of that stuff should be put on a flyer or something....

HrTroy: I'm not exactly sure. Where do you live? I live in Azle. It's about 30 miles north west of Fort Worth. I don't know of any off roading places except for a small one off Marine Creek Parkway near Tarrant County College NW.

I'm in far north Dallas. Thursday sounds good but big distance for one or both of us. If I'm gonna drive far then it might as well be a day run. I would like to do a day run to Bridgeport or Gilmer. I haven't been to Gilmer in a couple of years, but B-port is closer. Both places are good. Extra points to B-port though for their new kick-a** hamburger joint down the road from B-port park that I'm ready to drive to right now.

HrTroy: As of right now, I'm game. I don't think work is gonna call me in tomorrow. I don't have much going on tomorrow, so I'm in. Do you have an address of where we'll be meeting? Also, I just started tearing apart the winch on my Jeep, so I'll bring some tow straps so you can pull my noobie a** out if I get stuck.

I don't know what's on your side of town. I'd hate for you to have to drive all the way over here. Does anyone know of something in between?
