I really wish I could have wheeled with you guys this weekend. Maybe we could setup another meet come spring time? It shouldn't be more than a month before warm weather hits. I don't wanna make a long drive like that in my soft top in cold weather; it just ruins the whole experience. I haven't much luck finding some 4 wheelers in my area till I came here, hope to see you guys soon!

You can have a lot of fun stock. You don't need lift to wheel. Just friends to hang around and pull you out.

We'll see you another time, Haloguru. Warm weather is around the corner.

D44s are good. Depends on how hard you want to wheel. Ford 8.8s are more considered more sturdy. I like my 44 and have not had any problems with it. I go with best price for product.

A lower gear will be nice but I ran 35s with 3.73s for a year with no problems. I had a hard time staying in 5th on the highway though. Do your research and figure out what will work best for the way you wheel and any other driving you do. Mine is my daily but I wheel conservatively. I'll whup him in his *** and he'll take it, but I have to be able to drive him on Monday. 4.88s work best for me with a standard tranny and 35s. I can do 80mph on the highway and wheel on 4s and 5s with ease. Start thinking about what you want to do with lockers too.
