Well, that being said, does anyone know where the pick a part places (salvage yards) are in the DFW or even better North Dallas/Prosper/Plano/Denton?

Thanks!

Im gonna dust off this thread. I got an assistant manager position at an independent Goodyear Tire & Service center in Plano. After much pleading, i finally worked out something with the owner to post on here to give JeepForum members a hookup on tires and to help bring some business into the store (nobody seems to want to put effort into finding new customers). Im talking SERIOUS hookup on most Goodyear tires. Just a couple of popular treads and sizes and what i can do on them (all final prices are for sets of 4):

MT/R Kevlars:
35/12.50/15 - $225.00 each - $988.80 Installed + tax

33/12.50/15 - $216.44 each - $954.56 Installed + tax

37/12.50/17 - $373.88 each - $1584.32 Installed + tax

35/12.50/17 - $322.48 each - $1378.72 Installed + tax

Wrangler Duratrac:
33/12.50/15 - $187.96 each - $840.64 Installed + tax

Of course these are not all of the tires I can get, just a few I know are more often purchased by people on here. If you have any other model of tire you would like a quote on, just pm me and we can get in touch to work something out. They dont have to be just truck tires! Any type of vehicle. Also, if interested, we offer our Road Hazard warranty for $12.99 per tire. This covers flat repairs and replacement if needed.

Have a great weekend!

One of my very good friends and JF member, cj7major77 passed away yesterday. He was on this thread a bit, and I dont know if anyone here ever met him but this is a huge loss. He was greatly loved by everyone that knew him. Always brought happiness wherever he was. Dalton had just turned 22 this month. Please pray for his friends and family that they have the strength to get through this hard time.

Thanks JF,
Austen

Just want to say Hi all. Moved to DFW about a year ago from WV. I am hoping to get the Jeep ready to start some beginner trails this spring.I have never done any 4 wheeling so I have to start easy. We bought the Jeep about a year ago and have been working on getting her ready. Originally, she had 310 gears and 33 tires and could barely get to 55 mph on the highway! We had to regear just the rear to start, disconnect the drive shaft so no 4x4 at the moment. We had to do that to be able to drive from WV to TX pulling a Uhaul trailer. It worked great, and it has just been a daily driver for now, but cant wait to get the rear regeared, 4x4 hooked back up, and try some beginner trails and do some camping this spring. I hit up one get together at Gas Monkey Bar and Grill and met some other nice lady Jeepers. Looking forward to meeting others.

There's a run to Bridgeport this Saturday for anyone in the DFW area. Plan to be there around 10.

Sorry just saw this (didn't get a notification for some reason). How did it turn out? Any luck? I've never done a skip yoke but I'm always up to try something new. Shoot me a PM if you need me this coming weekend.
