Central Texas Mechanic

I need to get an engine rebuilt and don't have time. Anyone know a good engine builder in the Austin/SA corridor?

Industial Engine Service... Kirby area. They have a complete machine shop and are competent and fair. I know these guys but am not tied to them in any way. They are capable of large diesels to one lungers. Several of the companys I have worked for use them, and they balanced & blueprinted a small block for me personally. Contact me for more info. If I had more hours in the day, I would do it for you. (sound like we are in the same boat)

I my last TJ's head machined at Park's Engine Service in Seguin when we lived in New Braunfels. They specialize in race engines, but do it all. Great prices too. At the time, I had them quote me a full rebuild on a Vortec V6 which I planned for the CJ5. If I remember, it was something like $350 for parts and labor. I'm not sure what they go for now. Great guys though.

They are right off Hwy 46 and IH-10 on the NB side.
