I'm in the Waco area and have not found much in the area. There are active clubs in Austin and the DFW area.

I ended up running mostly with the Lone Star Jeep Club which is very active. (There are 2-4 club runs per months somewhere.)

They also have a very active forum - http://www.lonestarjeepclub.org/

Yes, I heard from a guy about getting a TX4WD chapter started in Waco. I could not make the initial meeting and have not heard anything else about it.

I think you will really like the LSJC group. They are having a run to Gilmer next weekend and one to DeLeon the following weekend.

I was thinking about it but I am in the middle of building rockers, have not mounted the front bumper yet, and am fighting a Tcase problem so I am about to back out until I get everything like I want it.

There are chapters listed in Killeen and Waco on theTX4WD.org site. You can contact the chapter officers from there.

As Roy says..."Happy trails to you until we meet again"

The Waco chapter of Tx4wd was started up about 4 months or so ago. It is probably still building its member base and growing. try checking out www.forum.tx4wd.org for more info. I know the Waco Prez is on there, we messaged back and forth when he was trying to first get it started.

You can also meet some folks from that area on www.texasjeepowners.com

I wheeled with some folks from that area last weekend...good people. And yes, there is a TX4WD chapter out of Waco....

Everywhere...but nowhere to be found!

Cen TX organized

We need to get organized, Temple, Harker heights, Killeen and Copperas Cove. There are alot of Jeep owners around but we have nothing local for us. I'm all for making a local club. Anyone else like the idea hit me up and lets get this done. I have a 2012 jeep Wrangler, stock but i will do more in time. I just want to get together with more jeep people and get out there.

So, did somebody start up a club for central Texas? I'm going to be getting back pretty soon from my deployment and wanted to look into joining a local club.

There's a club in Waco I just joined back in November. It's called Jeep Junkies. We try and get together once every 2 weeks or so and hang out or go out and eat together. And we go on trips often. Here's the link to the Facebook page.

Hey yall. I moved to Waco 2 months ago and just bought my first Jeep today. I like the idea of hanging out with others and doing some wheeling. I've never done any real off roading, just farting around on the ranch. I'd like to get involved with something like that. Thanks for the links, I'll have to look into the clubs.
