corpus here, really the only place to off road that i know of is the beach, and too much of that will wreak havoc on any car

I live in Corpus. I just bought the Jeep last May. Been looking for a jeep club or place to go off-road but haven’t really found anything.

ok anyone on here in corpus im really interested in starting or being in a jeep club. i just want to get something where we go wheeling at least once a week and hang out and fix up our rigs. i just got a 88 yj and im fixing it up to get it legal to drive on the street and giving it a well overdue tune up, also make it look nice. so i plan to be in wheeling shape by next month.

send me a pm if anyone is serious about being in a club. i can probably get a few of my friends from school to join. and get your friends who have a rig thats wheelable to join i dont care if its a jeep or not.

I know this posting is a little old but I just moved up to Corpus in Aug. 09. I've been looking for some people to wheel with. The only places I've been to is out off of Yorktown, out off of Roddfield?, and right here off of Ennis Joslin next to the treatment plant. Hit me up if anyone wants to do any wheeling or wrench on the heeps or anything like that.

Sorry I'm late, native of Corpus, in the past 2 years the 2 most public places to offroad (sea pines and off yorktown) have been closed, I have no idea where to play in the mud legally besides the odd washed-out caliche road or if I'm lucky and its muddy at my dove ranch in portland. I also have a family ranch up near Leakey, Texas which is 4 hrs away and more for deer hunting then trail charging, anywhos, just wanted to say hello and if you see me throw up the wave!

Some of the guys from Jeep Nation San Antonio are having a Beach Run this Saturday at PINS with some of the members of the new Corpus Christi chapter. Greet and Meet at a local restaurant after the run. PM me for time and location.

Saw all the wranglers out there yesterday, looked fun! Wish I would have found this thread beforehand.

New to Corpus myself. Looking for some legal local wheeling. Is there anything around here other than sand and mud?
