Cool, Im glad it was such a good turnout.
Would have liked to run more trails, would have liked to be fully locked, and would have liked to not break. But "build it better" is a mantra repeating over and over in my head that I cannot shake. So with the Jeep being down and my not wanting to fix the existing breakage since I have a build scheduled in two months anyway I went ahead and bit the bullet today and just about finished off my build list. Bought all the axles necessities today.
So my list of already bought items looks like this:
Axles: Dana 60 HP front, LP rear
Ring & Pinion: Yukon Gear 5.38's & Master Overhaul Kits
Chromolly Shafts: Yukon Gear front & rear inners & outters.
Lockers: Detroits front & rear
Hubs: Warn Premium
U Joints: 1350 billet super joints
-------------------------------------------------All of the above minus the axles themselves bought today.
Steering: PSC Full Hydraulic
Shocks: Fox Coil-overs w/ Eibach Springs
Transfer Case: Atlas 4SP
Tube Fenders: BTF builders kit
Competition Corners: BTF
Beadlock Wheels: Allied "Monster Aluminum", 17x10, 4.5" backspacing
Tires: Super Swamper 41x14.50-R17 IROKS
Fuel Cell: RCI 15 gal. aluminum and will have custom Gulf Coast Crawl aluminum cover
Interior: Mastercraft Rubicon DirtSport seats, 5 pt. harnesses, mounting brackets, seat saver covers.
At this point all that is left to purchase before the build is two Currie Anti-Rocks, diff. covers, and the chromolly for the suspension as well as all the misc. bracketry which will be at Dave's discretion, and a disk brake setup for the rear axle. At least that is all we can think of.
I am getting so excited I can barely sleep at night. Am waaay over the budget I originally had in mind, but I might as well do it before I put a ring on someones finger and have to start getting permission!!! My repeated quote to Dave has been "I only want to do this once".
