The beach was nice. I was a little worried about the weather early in the day, but it held out and was pretty nice in the evening.

As far as I know, nothing is planned for this weekend. Is anyone close enough to the creek to check the levels? With all this rain lately it is probably still very high. If anyone goes out there I'm bringing my kayak.

Well the wife and I have not been out to the creek. Actually the only place we have been is in the Trinity river bottoms and since she has had the baby we are ready to get off road. Very ready to get out there.

I bet it will still be sloppy out there this weekend. But it might not be that bad. I don't think its supposed to rain. If anyone wants to go I will probably be off on Sunday.

All the water from everyplace north of us that got rain is all draining down now. The Brazos river is way higher than normal and will take a while to come down. I'm sure the creek is still going to be high. Shayne said there's some car show benefit thing that I'm supposed to have my jeep in on Sunday, so I dunno if I'll make it to the creek. I'll keep you guys posted.

On a completely unrelated note, I found someone that does watercolors of pictures and she's gonna paint me one of the pic that I'm using for an avatar.
