Angelo Texas?

Any jeepers in or near this area? Me an a few friends are moving down here and just wondering how popular the jeep hobby is around here.

I live in SA myself, and the community is half college students. Lots of jeeps around of all types. Only see about 1 yj per day, rest are TJs and JKs.

update to what I've said earlier, there's more and more jeeps around now that the weather is sunny and consistently warm, seems the majority of jeep owners that aren't college kids have the jeep as a secondary for warmer weather, they drive their other vehicles (mostly SUVs) in the colder weather.

On average, I count about: 3 YJs (soft top, no doors), 8 TJs (mostly soft tops, half doors), 6 Liberties, and ~5 misc/unmarked per day.

if I remember correctly, there's three parks that I know of:

Rough Creek
Paint Creek
Wildcat

Not sure if any of those are state funded, pretty sure they are if things are run the same as in San Angelo, suppose you could give a call to city hall or somethin, lmao. Why you ask? You trying to get a meet n' greet together or something?

nothing too famous, but their is the twin buttes resevoir and parts of OC Fisher that are decent for offroad, people get stuck in the mud at twin buttes all the time, so bring a winch along. . Matt at West Texas Offroad will know alot more trails than I do.
