I was told by multiple people that the drags were going to be canelled this year due to the state considering roping off the river and charging admission or something along those lines?

I doubt there will be any roping off the river bed. But it is true. The west Texas outlaws will not be hosting any events this year due to the mass gathering permit that was waived last year so the events could continue.

Yes there was no drags last year only the bogs. The outlaws only sponsor the bogs. Dan o Quinn hosts the drags from what i know. I wouldn't be surprised if there was a mud pit and maybe a semi groomed sand track that will be unhosted only to in a way say the events will go on but who are you going to stick the mass gathering permit on? I'm going out this weekend to do camp preparation. I'll be there rain, shine, bogs or not.
